Argyle Continues Strong U.S. Growth With Two Key Additions

Washington, D.C. – June 06, 2022 – Argyle today announced exciting new additions its reputation risk and corporate advisory capabilities.

Megan Gabriel joins the firm as Senior Vice President of its U.S. Leadership team. Gabriel is a trusted crisis communications professional with deep experience providing strategic counsel to clients in preparation for, during and after some of the most challenging events in an organization’s history. Gabriel’s steady hand helps clients find the balance between over-communicating and under-communicating in order to protect the reputations and guide brands through necessary transformation.

Argyle also named Andrew Blanchette its Director of Data Intelligence. Blanchette provides clients with real-time insights pulled from social and traditional media analysis, along with other deep research methods. Blanchette specializes in situations involving crisis and reputation risk, and he routinely offers advance counsel to Fortune 500 companies on potential reputational issues or opportunities for growth.

“Effectively managing reputation risk is no longer a sporadic exercise,” said Argyle CEO Daniel Tisch. “While Argyle offers clients the experienced talent to handle nearly any issue that arises, Gabriel and Blanchette bring an essential dimension that helps both identify potential crises in advance and grow reputations, brands and business.”

Prior to joining Argyle, Gabriel was Senior Vice President of the Crisis Practice at a Washington, D.C.-based firm. She counsels organizations across a variety of industries, including Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations and start-ups, on sensitive matters related to corporate transformation, regulatory scrutiny and enforcement, litigation, workplace culture, and internal organizational issues that could impact the reputation of the organization and its freedom to operate.

“We live in a highly polarized world where organizations are increasingly expected to engage in taking a firm stance on societal issues,” said Gabriel. “Wading into these waters can both build goodwill and create risk. I’m excited to be part of a team that is uniquely focused on helping companies understand the risk landscape, act in ways that are consistent with an organization’s values, and find their voice to communicate in a way that earns stakeholder confidence.”

Blanchette previously was Director of Social Intelligence at a large North American firm. His diverse work also helps develop and execute broader stakeholder engagement plans, allowing organizations to communicate with employees and the public in an effective and meaningful way. His work spans many sectors, including natural resources, health, post-secondary education, transportation, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, technology, not-for-profit, financial, and sports and entertainment.

“Clients need to maximize their knowledge on evolving business risks and opportunities – and to turn the data into business outcomes.” said Blanchette. “Argyle’s Data Intelligence offering is unlike any other. The underpinning of our service is a fundamental link between data and strategy, with the aim of making an immediate impact on how our clients understand their reputation and its evolving impact on their business.”

Gabriel and Blanchette will work closely with Robert Gemmill, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Argyle USA, and Harlan Loeb, Executive Vice President, as the firm continues its expansion of corporate advisory services.
