PUBLIC RELATIONSHIPS INDEX STUDY 2019
The Argyle Public Relationships Index™, conducted in partnership with Leger Research Intelligence, measures six research-tested metrics of the quality of relationships between organizations and their publics: trust, satisfaction, commitment, caring for customers, concern for people, and the public’s ability to influence the organization. The study asks the public to rate organizations on these six dimensions.
In this year’s study of local governments, two thirds of Canadians think highly of their local municipality, and a narrow majority are satisfied with their local government – but only one third believe they can influence its decisions or direction.
Here are the reputation scores for the six major Canadian cities in the survey:
The net scores below represent the difference between each city’s ‘good opinion’ and ‘bad opinion’ score in the responses of its residents.
